I Love My Family

Ok, so the 10k wasn't so bad.

Sarah & I stayed together for most of the way, but at about mile 4 I got this sudden urge to run really fast so I finished about 4 minutes ahead of her. It was a great fun & the weather couldn't have been more perfect. My mom, Heather, & Ava were waiting at the finish line for us. It was perfect.

Who I'm Sleeping With Tonight:

Ava is coming to visit! My sister Heather, my mom, and of course niece Ava are coming to Wichita for the weekend to see us & watch Sarah & I run the 10k. Lucky them! NOT.

The weekend was amazing. I saw so many friends and slept in my childhood room - what more could I ask for?

I'm going home this weekend.

Lots of friends will be in town, which is something I always enjoy. I am really proud of my ability and willingness to stay in touch with friends from high school, college, work, etc... So seeing this group of old friends is sure to be a great time.

Even though I talk to both of my sisters, my mom, and my dad all at least once a day, I am still thrilled to see them as well (well the sister I don't live with, at least). My oldest sister, Heather and her husband Matt are having their first child. She is about six months along and we found out this morning that she's having a baby girl. They will name her Vivian.
